Set in a quiet suburb north-west of Milan, the scheme reinterprets the traditional Italian “corte” for contemporary living: four clusters of two-storey villas frame a shared landscaped court, where rain-garden planters, local stone paving and fruit trees create a convivial micro-piazza for residents. Each villa alternates warm oxidised-steel volumes with crisp white, echoing the terracotta-and-stucco palette of Lombard farmsteads while ensuring high durability. Deep loggias and sliding wooden screens modulate sunlight, granting privacy without sacrificing views of the communal garden.
